The flared wheel arches express the immense power of the BMW M4 Convertible. Redesigned LED rear lights accentuate the resolute stance of the rear end, whether or not they are lit. The angled M twin tailpipes and M diffuser also blend perfectly into the rear apron with the characteristic air outlets.
AERODYNAMIC+
The two upright inlets for the Air Curtain and the M gill elements at the sides with integral Air Breather element reduce aerodynamic drag around the wheel arches. For an optimum aerodynamic performance and, coincidentally, an increased heart rate too.
INTENSIVE+
As soon as the retractable hardtop completes its automatic opening process in about 20 seconds at road speeds of up to 18 km/h, you sense maximum driving appeal combined with the intensity of a convertible. With the roof up, too, it is visually compelling, affords extra safety and maintains agreeable interior acoustics even at high speeds.
ACCENTUATED+
In the rear lights, too, the lighting functions are performed entirely by means of light-emitting diodes. Their stretched L-shape with the continuous lighting design forms a fluid transition with the luggage compartment lid, accentuating the distinctive styling of the rear end.
M COMPETITION PACKAGE.
Thanks to an enhanced engine output and a specially tuned Adaptive M suspension, the M Competition package offers a noticeable increase in driving dynamics. The M sports exhaust system with black, chrome-plated twin tailpipes creates a powerful, full engine sound. The package also includes exclusive 20" M light alloy wheels with mixed tyres.

The M seats, integral head restraints and illuminated M logo at shoulder level offer perfect side support and encourage new personal bests. For extra support during sporty driving, there is a knee pad on the driver’s side of the centre console.

The 3.0 l M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder petrol engine blends the best of two worlds: a high-revving character capable of up to 7,600 rpm, and superior power culminating in peak torque of 550 Nm. Bi-turbo direct injection and typical M fine tuning make sure the engine responds directly to even the slightest touch of the accelerator with vigorous thrust and confident traction. Numerous innovations such as sleeveless construction or a lighter, forged crankshaft build on the intelligent lightweight construction concept, improve dynamics and acceleration, reduce consumption and enable an optimum axle load distribution of almost 50:50.
